Hi, I'm Sofia, a yoga teacher, traveller and enjoyer of life. I was born in Stockholm, Sweden, where I also studied music before becoming a yoga teacher.

I tried out my first yoga class when I was about 13 years old and since then it's always been a part of my life. I tried Bikram, Yin and Hatha Yoga before falling in love with the flow of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. After my graduation from school I bought a one way ticket to India to explore and deepen my knowledge of yoga. A few months later I did my first 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course. I continued my travels and ended up where I started, in Stockholm, to teach full time. I started working at one of Stockholms most well known yoga studios. I continued my training there with the senior teachers, while also teaching myself.

I've practiced with a few great teachers and went to numerous of workshops and courses around the globe. A great teacher is and will always be a student as well.

I yearly go to India to continue my yoga studies with guru Sharath Jois at the well known Shri K Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore. Now it's my 6th time studying with him.

I am currently doing a masters in Psychology to broaden my knowledge about the human mind. 

Today yoga is my life, I breathe it, practice it and teach it.

In my yoga classes you will find a good mix of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing) and meditation. Whether it's a dynamic class or a restorative one the class will always have a purpose, something to teach you and me.

In my dynamic yoga classes you will find a since of playfulness with focus on alignment, strength and technique.

In my yin/restorative classes we will explore the body and the mind through stillness. Staying in postures for a long time to observe what body and mind is up to. Observing patterns of the mind, thoughts and emotions. Whatever is going on in there, we use yoga as a tool to find stillness and acceptance.

Join me on this fantastic journey using the tool of yoga to get to know ourselves, eventually others and this world even better.
